Position Purpose The Logistics Support Officer covers a key role in the logistics team, acting as the local point of contact for Shops for logistic issues, resolving them or addressing them to the correct escalation path. This role is supporting key Supply Chain targets, strategic plans and continuous improvements as required. This role provides an opportunity for those looking for a career in Supply Chain or Logistics within Amplifon to develop skills in relevant to store operations and replenishment, order processing and management. Key Accountabilities The responsibilities of the Logistics Support Officer include but not limited to: 1st level shop logistics support Knowledge of service desk ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow) Problem solving for incidents and escalation process Collect all 2nd level shop logistic support requests and connect with logistic cluster to solve them Order management Manage orders to WH and final shops Interact with WH, suppliers and logistic providers to verify order status Partner with Vendors to assure flawless communication and prompt problem solving Inventory and replenishment Drive adoption of the global stock model within Australia, defining clear targets on the various stock elements Monitor and update target stock at the SKU location level in shops and warehouse Facilitating replenishment flows to the shops and through inter-shops transfers Optimise local inventory in clinics and warehouse Support with rundown of stock as part of Product Lifecycle management Other Participate in Supply Chain projects and initiatives as required Provide analytical support to the Supply Chain and Product teams as required In line with global guidelines and teams, analyse and forecast future product demands working with marketing, sales, retail operations, business intelligence and finance teams Desirable work experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent 1-2 years of experience working in Customer Service or Logistic Operations Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred), order automation tools (EDI protocols, Supplier Portals) and ticketing tools (ServiceNow) Experience in process improvement initiatives Essential skills Ability to work within a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong team player Good English, both spoken and written Customer oriented approach, able to problem solve and support resolution Good organizational and analytical skills Well organized and able to work under pressure Essential behavioural competencies Strong user focus and genuine desire to assist “Can do” attitude when handling complex situation Proactive team player Putting People First One of the ways we amplify careers is by helping our people achieve their full potential.
