Your new role As our Roster Officer within the Aged Care Services , you will coordinate and schedule staff and agency workers to provide essential support to carers and their loved ones. You’ll ensure each client receives services tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and circumstances, including language, type of support, and timing. You will also play a key role in ensuring services run smoothly and efficiently, building strong relationships with staff, clients, and external agencies to deliver high-quality, seamless support. Duties Coordinate rosters for home support and agency staff to provide essential respite services. Match staff skills, experience, and availability with clients’ individual needs and preferences. Liaise with external agencies to ensure carers and clients receive seamless support. Manage roster changes, cancellations, and updates with clear communication and efficiency. Skills and Experience With a background in administration/ business support you will have: Analytical mind with strong organisational and time-management skills. Strong customer service focus with a friendly phone manner and ability to create and maintain key stakeholder relationships. Experience with scheduling or rostering with the flexibility to accommodate changing needs. Ability to use technology-based client management and documentation systems.
