We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail & POS Operations Coordinator to join our Food & Beverage Department on a full-time permanent basis, located at Caulfield Racecourse. In this role, you’ll take the lead on coordinating inventory and operational activities, ensuring our outlets are well-prepared, accurately stocked, and ready to perform across both raceday and non-raceday events. You’ll be the key point of contact for POS and inventory support, providing guidance to front-of-house teams and keeping our systems updated and functioning smoothly. What will your responsibilities be? Manage stock transfers, consumption, and accuracy across all events Process invoices and verify received stock Oversee cycle and stocktake counts Lead training on inventory, outlet set up/pack down, and POS systems Ensure POS systems and stock management tools reflect current menus, products, and promotions Act as the primary contact for POS and TASK system support Provide on-site support for race day and events Collaborate with IT for POS terminal setup and configuration Assist with rostering and management of casual staff Qualifications, Skills & Experience Experience in hospitality or events operations Working knowledge of POS systems, including TASK Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Physically capable of manual handling tasks Availability to work weekdays and weekends as required Driver’s licence or access to a vehicle for site travel RSA certificate Forklift licence (Desirable) Warehouse or distribution experience (Desirable) What's in it for you?
