Our client is seeking dedicated individuals to assist the work of Social Workers and Welfare Workers by providing essential services and support to families. Key Responsibilities: The role includes assessing clients' needs and developing, planning, and implementing educational, training, and support programs. Conducting interviews with clients to understand the nature and extent of their challenges. Consistently monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients. Referring clients to other agencies for additional assistance when needed. Evaluating the needs of the community and resources available for health, welfare, housing, employment, training, and other facilities and services. Liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies, and private businesses to discuss community issues and promote awareness of available resources and services. Providing support to families, as well as education and care for children and disabled individuals in adult service units, group housing, and government institutions. Supervising offenders on probation and parole. Assisting young people in dealing with social, emotional, and financial issues. Preparing submissions for funding and resources, and reports to government bodies and other agencies. Qualifications and Experience Required: Skills equivalent to an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) are necessary. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed. In some instances, additional relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required alongside formal qualifications. English Language Requirements: An overall IELTS band score of 5.0 or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 4.5 in each test component. Skill Assessment Requirement: Qualifications and/or experience must be assessed and certified by a relevant skills assessing authority as being at least equivalent to the relevant Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification.
