Applicant Requirements: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Fitter (General) role, with extensive knowledge in machinery and equipment maintenance. Must present qualifications such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent. Required to supply proof of previous employment, certifications, a valid passport, and police clearance. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed diagnostics and maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment to identify and rectify faults. Execute precise fitting tasks, including assembling, installing, and commissioning of machinery and equipment. Conduct regular preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely. Use a variety of tools and equipment to fabricate, fit, and assemble parts and components of machinery. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance strategies and improve machinery reliability. Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, standards, and practices. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Provide technical advice and support to the maintenance and production teams.
