About the role We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic OSHC professional to join our team as an Educator with the ability to step up as a Responsible Person when needed, working 35 hours per week. In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, delivering high-quality care and engaging programs while building strong connections with the school community. Our OSHC offers before and after school care as well as vacation care. You will be working at Holy Cross Primary School located at Kincumber. Location: Kincumber NSW Work: Perm part-time – 6 month maternity leave contract Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 6:30am to 9:30am and from 2pm to 6pm - 35 hours per week You will bring with you: Understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework Assisting the Acting Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate programs Stepping up as Responsible Person when required School pick up and drop offs Organising breakfast and afternoon tea Ensuring a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices Creating a fun and engaging environment through play experiences Developing positive and supportive relationships with children and families Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues To be successful in this role you will need: Experience working with school aged children Relevant Child Care qualifications (Cert IV in Out of School Hours Care or Diploma) or working towards desirable Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance Completed or willing to complete Safe Food Handling training First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting Completion of Identify & Report Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT025) or equivalent Why Join CatholicCare?
