About the Role This opportunity supports a major HR technology uplift, providing functional expertise across SAP SuccessFactors with a focus on Employee Central and onboarding modules. You will be involved in shaping system enhancements, improving processes, supporting testing cycles and ensuring business needs are accurately translated into effective solution outcomes. The role plays a key part in ongoing system optimisation, data validation, stakeholder engagement and preparing the business for seamless operational transition. Up to $1100 per day plus super Anticipated start: 1 December 2025 Duration: 8 months with strong extension potential Hours: 40 per week Hybrid: 2 to 3 WFH days Location: Parramatta NSW 2150 No Christmas shutdown Applications close: Monday, 4 pm Key Responsibilities Lead functional reviews, gather business requirements and recommend improvements to HR processes and system workflows Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central, Onboarding 1.0 and 2.0 Develop functional documentation, update process maps and maintain configuration records Partner with internal stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business priorities Support system and user acceptance testing including script development and test execution Conduct analysis to identify issues, propose solutions and ensure system stability Work closely with data migration teams to support data mapping, validation and reconciliation Coordinate cutover tasks and contribute to go live readiness Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with technology, security and data governance standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help uplift capability within the HR systems team Assist with change impacts, stakeholder queries and resolution of system related incidents Provide operational support and ensure consistent delivery across multiple projects About You Strong experience in SAP SuccessFactors with hands on expertise in Employee Central and onboarding modules Background working in complex or large scale environments, ideally supporting HR transformation or digital uplift programs Solid understanding of HR processes, data structures and end to end employee lifecycle systems Experience with business analysis, requirement gathering, functional design and stakeholder engagement Comfortable managing testing cycles, drafting test cases and supporting users through defect resolution Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work through competing priorities Exposure to data migration, data integrity checks or system integration activities is highly regarded Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams Relevant certifications in SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms are highly preferred Familiarity with public sector or large-scale enterprise projects preferred Must have full Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or long-term visa holders) As a mandatory requirement for this contract role required by this NSW government department, applicants are kindly asked to complete a compliance check and upload their work rights verification at www.charterdiligence.com.au/portal.
