The Role We are currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the O’Brien team on an initial 2-year fixed term contract. Key duties and responsibilities include: Performing month-end tasks and collaborating with the wider Finance team in completing month-end close Support tax compliance, preparing the monthly BAS return, assisting Senior Financial Accountant in preparation of the FBT and Income Tax returns Assist with audit queries, sampling requests and preparation of annual reports Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring any variances are actioned and cleared each month Stakeholder accruals at month-end and preparing month-end slideshow presentations to summarise financial performance Processing entries and reconciliation between intercompany parties, including regular correspondence with accounting teams internationally The Perks O’Brien® is committed to giving you fantastic benefits, a platform for development and working with you to grow your career.
