They are seeking a dedicated and Fitter to join the team on an initial 3-month contract working on a highly specialised project. Position: Qualified Fitter Location: Melton South Contract Type: 3-Month Contract (with possibility of extension or permanent placement) What You'll Be Doing: Performing fitting, assembly, and maintenance work on various mechanical equipment and machinery. Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications accurately. Being a specialist in aspects of mechanical assembly Troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs. Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and quality standards. What We're Looking For: A recognised Fitter trade qualification (e.g., Fitter and Turner, Mechanical Fitter). Proven experience in a heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar engineering environment. Good with nuts and bolts Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent practical skills. A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
