OH&S Manager - Construction Location: Northern Suburbs of Melbourne Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm Duration: 6-Month Project Rate: $75 per hour We are seeking an experienced OH&S Manager with a strong background in construction to oversee safety compliance for a warehouse assembly project in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. This role is full-time (6AM to 2PM) for a 6-month project , offering $75 per hour . About the Role: As the Occupational Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining WHS procedures, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with WorkSafe regulations, and leading site safety initiatives. Your expertise in construction processes and WHS legislation will be crucial in maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular site walks to identify and resolve safety issues. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulations, and company policies . Develop and maintain risk assessments, SWMS documents, and safety plans . Train and induct workers on safety procedures and site-specific risks. Ensure all personnel are using the correct PPE . Conduct daily toolbox talks and maintain documentation (Health & Safety Plan, Guidelines, Safety Handbook, etc.). Oversee injury and compliance investigations . Review RAMS, H&S procedures , and update them as needed. Monitor assembly execution to ensure maximum safety compliance. What We're Looking For: Full Australian working rights Strong understanding of construction processes and WHS regulations . Knowledge of installation safety requirements . Proficiency in creating reports, using office programs, and maintaining test & tag registers . Excellent communication and leadership skills to advise and train teams. Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures . High-level documentation skills for reporting and investigation.
