Lead end-to-end coordination of the student placement lifecycle Provide expert support, advice and guidance to students, staff and placement partners Full time, ongoing role based in Launceston About the opportunity The position works under the general direction of the Coordinator, Professional Experience Placement in the delivery of PEP across the schools. Playing a key administrative role in the delivery of the College’s placement programs, this role provides high level advice and guidance to staff, students, and industry partners with respect to the professional placements program in areas including placement administration, policy, procedure, expectations, and external partner compliance requirements. What you’ll do: Coordinate student placement lifecycle activities, including placement allocation, ongoing support, advice and guidance to students and staff and improving processes. Build collaborative relationships with placement partners to source, secure and allocate suitable placements. Manage the student placement compliance process to ensure all discipline and partner-specific pre-placement requirements are met. Generate, distribute and analyse placement reporting data to internal and external stakeholders. Provide routine direction, supervision, guidance and leadership to other Professional Experience Placement Officers across performance and development. What we’re looking for: Completion of diploma level qualification in a relevant area with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Experience in supporting the management of student placements or equivalent complex tasks, to achieve strategic and operational goals. Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with diverse stakeholders to build effective relationships and partnerships. Excellent organisational skills, and experience using initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities. Digital literacy skills including extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office and across a range of placement management systems. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
