Howard Smith Wharves are now actively recruiting for experienced Carpenters to join our growing team! This is a Monday to Friday role where you will have the opportunity to work across residential and maintenance projects based at Howard Smith Wharves and nearby Brisbane properties. The successful applicant will be proficient in all aspects of carpentry work and will have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for fit outs, renovations, and maintenance of our hospitality venues, as well as assisting with new projects. Key Responsibilities will include: Lead and coordinate on-site carpentry and construction activities Liaise with supervisors Read and interpret plans, allocate tasks, and coordinate daily site activities. Perform hands-on carpentry work, including framing, formwork, and finishing. Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. Manage materials, tools, and equipment to support efficient site operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, trades, and team members. Identify and resolve site issues to maintain workflow and deadlines. What we’re looking for: Have the ability to work autonomously. Residential and renovation experience. Be adaptable to a changing environment.
