About The Role Undertake ongoing development and training (both formal and “on the job”) designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to various purchasing processes.Obtain a thorough understanding of the functions of purchasing and tendering across the organisation, in accordance with policy, procedures and applicable Local Government regulations.Undertake tasks to provide support and assistance in the day-to-day operations of purchasing, tendering, and supply chain management at Council. About You New to the work force and looking to start a career in Purchasing and Supply.Have a working knowledge of Experienced in using Microsoft Office desktop applications, in particular Word and Excel.Excellent written and oral communication skills.
