We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services. About the role As a Receptionist, this is your opportunity to provide customer service as the initial contact point for all clients who present at House 49, stakeholders, contractors and visitors. The reception role is responsible for providing reception and administrative support for the effective operation of the House 49 and programs operating on site . Reporting to the House 49 Manager, this is a fixed-term position for 12 months, offering full-time hours based in Darwin, NT. How you will make an impact Greeting visitors, managing security and tele-communication systems, handling queries and complain by email. First point of contact and directing to relevant people if appropriate, providing correct information about the program and service delivery. Email general correspondence. Transferring calls as necessary, taking, and ensuring messages are passed onto staff member on time. Receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail Provide banking support & Petty cash management. What you will bring Previous experience in a reception/administrative environment, preferably within the community/welfare sector is desirable. Certificate III in Business or willingness to obtain is desirable A National Police Record check is required prior to commencement. A NT Working with Children Ochre Card check is required prior to commencement. A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
