We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished musician to join our Performing Arts team as an Instrumental Music Instructor specialising in Violin and Viola. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant school with a strong performing arts culture encompassing Music, Dance and Drama. Our program engages students from Early Learning through to Year 12, fostering creativity and excellence. About the Role Part-time term-time position (2–3 days per week) commencing on 27th January 2026. Provide high-quality music instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels. Deliver private lessons and support the school’s Instrumental Music Program (IMP) and ensembles. Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations. Collaborate with staff to organise concerts and events. Essential Criteria Bachelor of Music, Music Education, or equivalent experience. Strong performance background in Violin and Viola. Experience in teaching the Violin and Viola. Current Blue Card registration. Current First Aid & CPR certification. Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills. Desirable Skills Ability to work with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods. Experience with music technology and varied pedagogical approaches. Why Join Us?
