We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Senior Boarding Supervisors to join our boarding team. These full-time, term-time roles involves working predominantly outside regular school hours and play a vital role in creating a friendly and nurturing environment, where students and staff can live harmoniously and feel supported. The role will be required to help students develop essential social and community skills, preparing them to become responsible and respectful members of society. Available positions are: 2 x Senior Boarding Supervisor – Monday to Friday (2.30pm – 10.30pm) 2 x Senior Boarding Supervisor – Sunday to Thursday (2.30pm – 10.30pm) About the Role Senior Boarding Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the boarding house and the wellbeing of students in their care. Working collaboratively with Residential Boarding Assistants and the Head of Boarding, the successful candidate will: Foster a friendly and respectful boarding environment, prioritising Boarders’ care and wellbeing. Support students’ personal development and academic progress. Supervise daily routines, study sessions, and extracurricular activities. Promote leadership opportunities and positive behaviour. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of boarding facilities. Assist with transport coordination and event planning. Complete documentation and pastoral care notes. Essential Criteria Experience in a supervisory or pastoral care role, ideally in a boarding or residential setting. Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Valid Driver’s Licence. Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check). Skills & Attributes Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young adolescents, understanding their culture, development needs, and fostering a supportive environment. Serve as a positive role model through professional behaviour, respectful language, appropriate dress, personal grooming, hygiene, integrity. Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication and active listening skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues and parents. High level of organisation, leadership, and initiative.
