Civil Supervisor – Brisbane Location Are you an experienced hands-on civil professional ready to step into a supervisory role on high-impact commercial sites? We’re seeking a Civil Supervisor with at least 3 years’ on-site civil experience, including direct work in excavators and ground-level activities, to lead operations in Brisbane. What you’ll be doing: Supervising and coordinating day-to-day civil works on a commercial civil construction site, including excavation, earthworks, trenching and utilities installation. Operating an excavator (or overseeing excavator operations) and participating in on-the-ground civil tasks. Managing site teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress and quality of works. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality standards. Liaising with contractors, plant operators and site stakeholders to keep the works flowing smoothly. Overseeing site preparation, land-grading, site cuts, retaining, forming, and preparing for downstream trades. About the project environment: You’ll be working on a commercial civil site that performs end-to-end earthmoving, excavation and site-preparation services for large scale development. Their capabilities include demolition, pool removals, tight-access excavations, land-grading, bulk earthworks and wet-hire of major machinery across the Brisbane/South East Queensland region. Minimum 3 years’ experience working on civil construction sites (commercial or large residential). Solid experience working on the ground and in an excavator (not just supervising from the office). Strong understanding of civil operations: excavation, earthmoving, trenching, site cuts, compaction, utilities work. Able to demonstrate leadership, site-control, scheduling, cost-awareness and safety-first mindset. Valid civil construction or excavation licence/certifications, plant operator tickets, and appropriate QLD site-safety credentials (white-card, etc). Reliable, proactive, with a “get-in-and-make-happen” attitude.
