About the Role We're seeking a Senior Identity Engineer to join a growing Identity and Access Management (IDAM) team on a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager IDAM, this is a hands-on technical role responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimisation of enterprise identity platforms particularly SailPoint IdentityNow. You'll play a key role in strengthening access governance, onboarding new applications, and driving continuous improvement across identity services. Key Responsibilities Onboard a diverse range of applications to SailPoint IdentityNow, including development of custom connectors. Define, implement, and monitor identity policies and standards. Develop and maintain technical and support documentation. Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions. Manage certification (user access review) campaigns. Maintain and patch SailPoint components. Respond to incidents, service requests, and technical queries. Identify and implement process optimisation and automation opportunities. About You You're an experienced Identity Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and working in a collaborative environment. You'll bring a blend of strong technical skills, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for identity and access management. Ideally you will have: 7 years' hands-on experience in identity governance engineering (SailPoint experience highly regarded). Experience scripting in JavaScript and PowerShell, and coding in Java or Python. Solid understanding of Privileged Access Management and HR lifecycle processes. Experience working with third-party managed service providers. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments is a bonus.
