About the Role: As the Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a Full time, 38 hours per week, hands-on leadership role where you'll guide team members, drive service standards, and help create a positive workplace culture that values teamwork and respect. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily store operations and performance Lead, train, and mentor team members to deliver exceptional customer service Oversee stock control, deliveries, and inventory management Handle point-of-sale operations and ensure accurate cash handling Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly Support rostering, shift coverage, and team development Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and equipment functionality Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with WHS policies Perform administrative and reporting duties in the Store Manager's absence Lead by example in professionalism, appearance, and conduct What You'll Bring: A strong customer service focus and the ability to lead by example Excellent communication and leadership skills Confidence in problem-solving and conflict resolution Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach Physically capable of working on your feet for extended periods Willingness to learn, take initiative, and delegate effectively Previous experience in retail, convenience, or fuel operations is highly regarded Why Join Us?
