Which, I'm sure you'll agree, is a desirable quality in a prospective employer. Position Overview This role focuses on providing workshop fitting on the company’s equipment range. Responsibilities include: Completing fit-outs, modifications, inspections, and basic servicing of equipment. Pre-delivery work on new equipment. This process also includes some office work/paperwork. Completing full inspections on hire equipment. Opportunity to assistant the Plant Mechanics in the field from time to time. Complete the provided and paid equipment training program and skill development. Monday to Friday workshop role with some Saturday work. Key Requirements Trade-qualified Mechanic or Fitter ideally. Someone without a qualification but, mechanically-minded with some mechanical experience. Experience working on some type of equipment or machinery. Strong desire to learn new technical skills and develop your ability. Computer literate with good communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude. Stable work history with a reliable track record. Driver’s license and Australian Citizenship/PR Essential. On Offer Full-time, permanent role with a stable and respected heavy equipment OEM. $40-$45 per hour, plus super and OT. Company phone, PPE, and additional benefits.
