Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor CHPP plant and equipment to meet production targets Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, screens, conveyors, crushers) Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to fixed plant equipment Perform inspections and report on plant condition Support shutdowns and planned maintenance activities Maintain compliance with site safety and environmental standards Liaise with other team members to ensure smooth and continuous operation Contribute to continuous improvement of plant performance and maintenance processes About You: Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter) or proven experience in a similar non-trade role Previous experience in a CHPP, wash plant, or heavy industry environment Strong understanding of fixed plant equipment and coal processing systems Sound fault-finding and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety and following site procedures Ability to work as part of a high-performing team Willingness to work DIDO or FIFO rosters depending on site allocation Desirable (but not essential): Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Forklift, EWP, and Working at Heights tickets Experience in multiple CHPP setups Opportunities and Benefits: Upskilling available – attain Certificate III in Resource Processing via our sister company CTS Multiple site locations with long-term opportunities Supportive team environment with a focus on safety and development Competitive remuneration and conditions based on experience.
