About the Role: DEW is looking for a dynamic WHS Project and Wellbeing Officer to lead strategic safety initiatives and champion a positive safety culture across the department. In this role, you'll: Drive major Work Health & Safety projects from concept to implementation. Provide expert advice to DEW divisions and Executive leadership, influencing continuous improvement in workplace wellbeing. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the Department through consultation and engagement, facilitating the enhancement of operational practices and service delivery. Contract: Temporary contract up to 30 June 2027 Desirable Qualifications: An appropriate qualification in Work Health and Safety An appropriate tertiary studies in Psychology Special Conditions: May be required to participate in responses to state emergencies or associated duties. You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or provide evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows you to work in Australia without restrictions. Prior to being employed, the successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Police Check. May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel, occasional overnight absences, and work outside of the normal hours of work. Remuneration: ASO6 ($98,478 min - $104,165 max) p.a.
