About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Architect (Registered) who has the capacity to lead and deliver projects; a great designer, a great leader, and someone with excellent Revit skills is the trifecta we are looking for! The successful candidate needs to have both strong design and delivery skills and the ability to take a project from end to end, including managing teams, clients, builders, and consultants. Ideally, you have the knowledge and experience to act as the first point of contact for any issues or questions from site, so your communication and stakeholder management skills need to be second to none. Your collaborative approach is as important to us as your design and technical skills, and we are seeking people who are passionate about design and driven to produce superior design outcomes. As a hands-on leader, you will need to get into Revit from time to time and have a solid understanding of how it operates to assist in understanding deliverables and timelines. You will also have the opportunity to act as a mentor to the younger members of the team, passing on your knowledge to the next generation of up-and-coming design professionals. You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated, and creative team of Design Professionals in our Melbourne Studio including Architects, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, and Architectural Technicians. Getting to work is a breeze as we are located within 5 minutes’ walk from Southern Cross and Flagstaff Stations, and Bourke and Collins Street trams. General Duties: Play an active role in the delivery and management of projects from all stages; concept design to contract administration Manage the day-to-day operations of projects, updating Partners when necessary Ability to create and review drawings in Revit, including checking and marking up drawings and reviewing team members' drawings and documenting projects if needed Lead and work in cohesive teams Liaise with clients, consultants, and other external stakeholders Contribute to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members About you: We want someone ambitious who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. You will need to have proven experience in all project phases and with coordinating consultants. To be successful in this role you will need: 10 years of Architectural Experience on medium to large scale projects Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover Demonstrated experience in working with Project Managers and Consultants as part of a larger design team Excellent communication skills and client relationship management skills Strong level of technical/construction knowledge Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required Demonstrated level of expertise in Revit, Enscape, and InDesign.
