About the role: Our established and growing team is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Wall and Floor Tiler with experience to join our team with 2 years of experience. The position will offer a competitive base salary of $80,000 plus superannuation The successful candidates should: Key Responsibilities • Measure and cut tiles to fit spaces accurately • Interpret plans, measures surfaces and plan layout of tiles • Prepare wall and floor surfaces – filling holes, cracks, clean surfaces – remove tiles (if necessary), grout, adhesives • Using tools to cut, Install and lay tiles, using adhesives, cement • Prepare and apply grout, clean and polish tiles • Attach tiles to surfaces, using correct adhesive, making sure that patterned tiles match, • Lay floors of cement, granolithic, terrazzo or similar composition • Apply waterproofing in bathrooms and other wet areas and are up to code • Adhere by safety regulations and industry standards • Follow OH&S standards and site safety procedures • Team player, good attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
