What you will be doing Reporting directly to Advisor, Election Staffing, this role will be responsible for: Managing and supporting of the VEC's election workforce. Providing support to staffing operations and projects, contributing to the integrity and smooth delivery of electoral events. Managing the election casual staff database and provide phone and email support, offering expert advice on the VEC's personnel management system Supporting the Event Strategy and Delivery Administration leadership team with document, report, submission, quotation, and invoice preparation. Assisting with recruiting, appointing and training. Leading a team of casuals during large electoral events. What you will bring to the role Advanced computer skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Experienced in system and database management, ensuring data accuracy, secure handling, and providing effective user support and troubleshooting. Skilled in developing and delivering training for systems and personnel management. Team Leadership & Development: Skilled in coordinating and leading small teams, fostering growth through coaching and mentoring. Customer Service Expertise: Strong ability to deliver excellent service, effectively represent and resolve customer issues.
