St John of God Health Care is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Supply Operations to lead the proactive management and continuous improvement of our supply function across our hospital network. As a senior manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our supply operations - engaging with leaders across the organisation, driving operational excellence, and delivering safe, reliable, and efficient supply services that support exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end supply chain across SJGHC hospitals and distribution centres, ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of clinical and non-clinical supplies. Oversee receiving and receipting processes across all sites to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across Supply Operations, leveraging Oracle Fusion ERP and data analytics to inform decisions. Drive transformational change initiatives to optimise operations, reduce freight costs, and improve service delivery. Provide strong leadership to Supply Operations teams, fostering collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement. Align supply costs, consumption, and budgets with hospital P&L, ensuring financial accountability and operational optimisation. Implement strategies to enhance inventory management, prevent overstocking, and support centralised product control. Partner with hospitals to improve supply locations, layout, and stock allocation for maximum efficiency and service. Monitor performance against KPIs and strategic objectives, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to support engagement and alignment with Supply Operations initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and cost-effective solutions. Oversee operational responses to recalls, shortages, and disruptions, maintaining patient safety and business continuity. Support delivery of organisational efficiency initiatives and savings targets through process improvements and waste reduction. Ensure compliance with all supply policies, processes, and controls across your portfolio. Provide expert advice to Hospital CEOs, Finance, and Operational leaders on supply performance and improvement strategies. You are an experienced and strategic leader with a strong background in supply operations, logistics, or resource management - ideally gained within the healthcare sector or a large, complex organisation. You bring proven expertise in managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including distribution centres, hospital supply, and inventory management. With exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, you are adept at building collaborative relationships, driving operational excellence, and leading transformational change. Your strong business and financial acumen enable you to align supply costs with budgets and organisational goals, while your proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion allows you to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making. You are a clear communicator, a strategic thinker, and a leader who inspires continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance across diverse teams.
