Our CityCare team are currently looking for a part-time (2.5days/week) Business Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for supporting the financial & operational functions of CityCare by coordinating day-to-day business activities and ensuring alignment with established organisational policies and procedures. This role works closely with Finance and other Business Managers to support effective resource use and operational efficiency. The role is responsible for coordinating budgets, supporting procurement processes, managing travel and fleet logistics, and assisting with the operational implementation of policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks. This role may be based at any of our Hillsong locations across Australia. Other aspects of this role include: Financial Administration & Budget Coordination Support the preparation, monitoring, and review of budgets and financial forecasts for CityCare programs and teams in collaboration with Finance and CityCare Support Team, under the direction of the CityCare Oversight. Work with the Finance team and other Business Managers to track expenses, identify variances, and provide accurate financial data and reports to support decision-making. Assist with resource allocation and cost control across operational areas, as directed by the CityCare Oversight. Provide support to the CityCare Support Team on financial processes and accountability for deliverables. Contribute to initiatives that buildfinancial literacy and awareness of budget responsibilities within CityCare teams. Procurement, Travel & Fleet Support Coordinate CityCare’s procurement and purchasing for programs, campaigns, and operations, ensuring alignment with budget and value-for-money principles, under direction of the CityCare Oversight. Provide guidance to teams on procurement procedures and assist with implementing improvements under management direction. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, incorporating stewardship and ethical sourcing principles. Administer CityCare’s travel coordination processes, including bookings, reimbursements, and policy compliance. Assist in the day-to-day coordination of the CityCare vehicle fleet, including allocation, maintenance scheduling, and alignment with broader organisational policies. Operational Policies & Compliance Support the operational rollout of organisational policies and procedures, by ensuring they are communicated effectively, implemented, monitored, and adhered to (incl. compliance). Assist with compliance activities, including Work health and Safety, fleet safety, fire safety, and equipment maintenance. Support the implementation of Safe Church policies, training requirements, and incident reporting processes. Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes, in line with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Ideally, the successful candidate will bring: Tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate IV or Diploma) in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience 3-5 years’ experience in financial administration, operations coordination, or procurement within a not-for-profit or community services environment. Strong skills in budgeting, resource tracking, and financial analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with experience using finance or procurement systems. Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks. Preferred: Knowledge of fleet coordination, travel logistics, Australian WHS principles in an organisational context, and experience coordinating procurement activities.
