Due to growth, we are seeking a Draftsperson to join their team. As a key member of the fire protection design and drafting team, you will be responsible for providing effective project and technical solutions, designs and modelling for a range of building / fire protection projects including commercial, retail and industrial buildings. You will also be involved in building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to the internal growth of the team. The role: Develop designs and modelling for various fie service systems Produce working drawings and plans Process purchase orders to our suppliers for materials Assist the with any designs / structural engineering enquiries as required Carry out compliance audits and assessments What we're looking for: Experience working in buildings Services / fire sprinklers - Fire systems design favorable but not essential Qualifications in engineering, drafting or building services discipline favourable 3 years relevant experience Experience designing fire sprinkler systems, hydrants / water tanks / piping and some Hydraulics projects. Past experience using Revit / AutoCAD on local projects preferred. Experience with fabrication sheets useful Knowledge and experience using Australian codes and standards Good all round communication skills Experience preparing and producing fabrication sheets is useful but not essential. Some prior knowledge of the Australian Standards and local Authority requirements. Strong adherence to and awareness of Australian safety standards. Good communication skills written and verbal.
