ConsultANZ is currently seeking 9 experienced Rig Operators for a major infrastructure project in Western Australia. As a Rig Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drill rigs safely and efficiently to meet project requirements. This role is suited for professionals with a strong background in geotechnical or foundation drilling who are ready to contribute to large-scale civil engineering works. Key Responsibilities: Operate hydraulic and rotary drill rigs in accordance with safety standards and project specifications Conduct daily maintenance checks and basic servicing of the rig and equipment Work closely with drilling assistants and site supervisors to ensure timely and efficient drilling operations Interpret drilling logs and reports to assist with ongoing site analysis Adhere to all company and site-specific safety protocols Record drilling activities and submit daily reports Requirements: Proven experience as a Rig Operator in geotechnical, foundation, or piling projects Competency operating a variety of rig types (e.g. rotary, CFA, bored piles) Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintenance White Card (Construction Induction) Current HR Driver’s License (preferred) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork in remote environments Benefits: FIFO from anywhere in Australia – Flexible home base Permanent, full-time positions with job security 14 Days On / 7 Days Off Roster Work on a landmark infrastructure project Competitive salary package Supportive team environment focused on safety and performance APPLY NOW if interested or email jane.lara@consultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
