We're seeking an organised and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our client on a 6 month contract, based in Perth, CBD. The Role This role will see you take responsibility for a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including: Managing accounts payable and receivable Preparing and posting journal entries Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation Preparing BAS, PAYG, and other statutory returns About You Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or similar 2-4 years' experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping position Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes Experience with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software Intermediate to advanced Excel skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organisational skills If you're immediately available then please apply today.
