Labourer – Projects & Asset Services Location: Moreton Bay Region (Caloundra, Narangba, Margate) Join a team that keeps our community thriving. As a Labourer in Council’s Asset Maintenance division, you’ll contribute to the upkeep and improvement of public infrastructure across the region—working with purpose, professionalism, and pride. Key Responsibilities: Carry out construction, maintenance, and general labouring tasks across various Asset Maintenance projects including gardening. Operate and maintain plant, equipment, and PPE in line with safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines Safely dispose of materials and waste in accordance with environmental and safety standards Collaborate with diverse work teams to ensure efficient and professional delivery of services Support broader team outputs and contribute to a high standard of service delivery across the department What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in asset maintenance practices and manual operations Strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and community members A safety-first mindset and ability to adapt to emerging technologies Team-oriented approach and willingness to support broader departmental goals Qualifications: Current MR (Medium Rigid) class driver’s licence is preferable.
