With a growing portfolio of commercial and residential projects across South East Queensland, we are seeking a full-time Carpenter to join our construction team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, industry-leading projects. The Role As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality outcomes through your expertise in carpentry and framing. Key Duties & Responsibilities Interpret drawings, site plans, and technical documents to understand the construction requirements for glazing, facade, and framing works. Prepare, cut, shape, and assemble timber, aluminium, and composite materials to build the structural bases, supports, and internal/external framing needed for glass panels and facade systems. Install and secure window and door frames, curtain wall sub-framing, mullions, transoms, and other structural components that support glazing assemblies. Fit, adjust, and align framing elements to ensure glass units, cladding, and facade components sit correctly, meet design tolerances, and distribute loads safely. Carry out repairs or replacement of damaged or deteriorated framing, cladding, or internal support structures associated with glazing installations. Fabricate and prepare components off-site or on-site using a range of carpentry tools, power tools, and machinery, ensuring accuracy and finish quality. Inspect and verify measurements, levels, and alignments throughout construction and installation stages to maintain compliance with specifications and industry standards. Set up temporary structures such as support frames, working platforms, and access systems needed for facade and glazing installation tasks. Work closely with construction teams and site supervisors to coordinate project sequencing, resolve technical issues, and maintain safe and efficient site operations. Skills and Competencies Proven experience in construction carpentry. Strong understanding of carpentry, framing, and structural systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Holds relevant certification or 2–3 years of relevant experience.
