The key duties of the position include The Role This role is critical to the delivery of high-quality and relevant training to Defence health personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Defence Health Learning Management Authority and contributing to the development of a proficient and reputable trained health workforce. The successful candidate will be able to conduct training analysis and development, instructional design, and evaluation of health training programs. Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, including Defence personnel and external partners and utilise learning management systems and associated software to support health training and education. About our Team The Health Learning Management team is nested within the Directorate of Workforce Optimisation and aligns health training to ADF's operational requirements as representatives of the Learning Management Authority for ADF Health Training. This work includes reviewing existing training and identifying new training in conjunction with the respective Managers of Joint Training. Ability to navigate relationships is a crucial part of the teams effectiveness. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Competence with learning management systems and associated software. Ability to think strategically, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. Preferably the candidate will have a background in Defence and/or Health. A tertiary qualification in education (or similar) would be considered highly desirable.
