About the Position The Head of Enrolments plays a pivotal role in leading the School’s enrolment strategy and the operational outcomes of the enrolment team. This role is responsible for achieving enrolment targets through strategic planning, and the delivery of an exceptional experience that reflects St Hilda's values and the continued promotion of the philosophy of the school which is founded in our Vision and Mission statements. The Head of Enrolments works closely with the Principal, marketing team, and community partners to ensure enrolment processes are efficient and welcoming, delivering an exceptional experience that reflects St Hilda's values and positions the school as the first choice for prospective families and their daughters’ education. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the end-to-end enrolment process, including the provision of expert advice on strategic markets and trends for enrolment growth and retention Oversee, organise and attend Open Day, School Expos and rural visits, and as required attend international trips and any other school events with an enrolment focus on collaboration with the Marketing Team and Principal Develop and execute a comprehensive enrolment and engagement strategy aligned with the school's strategic plan, vision, mission and values Establish and build relationships with international schools, and educational partners to enable international experiences for our students and promote international enrolments for St Hilda’s School Lead the scholarship and bursary assessment process ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, including selection criteria, coordinating assessment panels, reviewing applications, scholarship testing, annual review, policy and procedures. Selection Criteria 1. Strategic Leadership and Enrolment Management Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end enrolment processes, developing targeted enrolment strategies and heading enrolment campaigns in an educational setting, with proven ability to provide strategic advice on market trends, enrolment growth, and retention strategies. 2. Ambassadorial and Relationship-Building Skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to represent the school professionally and authentically to diverse stakeholders including prospective families, international partners, and community groups. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with international schools/educational institutions, educational partners, agents and boarding communities to promote the school, facilitate student opportunities and drive enrolments. 3. Enrolment Events and Campaign Management Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, and attending major enrolment campaign events such as Open Days, school expos, and promotional visits (local, rural and international), and the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing teams and senior leadership to deliver cohesive, high-impact enrolment events. 4. Scholarship and Assessment Program Management Experience managing scholarship and bursary programs, including developing selection criteria, coordinating assessment panels, reviewing applications, overseeing testing processes, and conducting annual reviews. 5. Educational Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Community Development, or a related field, with proven experience in community engagement, partnership development, or similar roles, ideally within an educational setting.
