We're looking for a Senior Advisory Consultant who brings deep expertise in cloud strategy, technology modernisation, and transformation-someone who has walked in the shoes of public and/or finance sector clients and knows what it takes to turn vision into reality. What You'll Do Lead strategic advisory engagements focused on multi-cloud, cloud-native development, and new ways of working. Develop implementable technology roadmaps, business cases, and operating models that accelerate value. Be the technical leader and trusted advisor for hybrid cloud, data, and AI adoption guiding clients from strategy to execution. Engage with senior stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, COOs and procurement leaders) to shape and influence transformation agendas. Co-create solutions with clients using Design Thinking, Agile, and experiential selling methods. Drive advisory-led lead generation, opportunity shaping, and technical solutioning in partnership with IBM sellers and ecosystem partners. Lead a team of advisory consultants and architects and help maturing advisory practice. Who You Are A strategic technologist with firsthand experience in public and/or financial services sector transformation. A storyteller and influencer who can engage senior leaders and build trust to deliver outcome. A builder of technology roadmaps from cloud strategy to AI adoption with a bias for action and engineering excellence. Required technical and professional expertise Your Skills & Experience Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/ RedHat OpenShift) and cloud-native architectures. Strong understanding of DevOps, FinOps, containerisation, and microservices. Experience with infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, and API development. Proven ability to develop complex business cases, TCO models, technology assessments and cloud migration and modernisation strategies. Certified in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP/ RedHat). Sound understanding of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modern software engineering practices. Foundational knowledge in data and AI, and ability to articulate their business value to senior clients. Other Requirements: Australian citizen and eligible to go through security clearance. * Willing to travel mostly as/when required.
