Hunter Manning has partner with one of our trusted clients to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper for an ongoing temporary position based near Perth CBD. Details: Start date: 24th November 2025 Duration: 7–8 weeks Role: Bookkeeper Rate: $45 per hour Super Hours: 32–38 hours per week This is a standalone position where you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the accounting function for a small retail business. Your key duties will include: Data entry of invoices into Xero, including checking against delivery records and approving. Generating supplier pay runs weekly, ensuring accuracy against supplier invoices. Entering and balancing invoices from the main supplier. Performing bank and credit card reconciliations. Recording and balancing daily takings. Managing supplier queries via phone and email. End-to-end processing of weekly payroll. Uploading payments and assisting with ad hoc finance duties as required. To be considered for this role, you will need: Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts all-rounder roles (ideally within small business environments). Proficiency in Xero accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations. Good understanding of accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
