An exciting opportunity has opened to join an experienced international team to support the ongoing growth of Software Combined. The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated M&A Origination Intern to join the team for a part-time paid internship (November 2025 - February 2026) based in Sydney. In this role you will play a crucial part of identifying key investment opportunities for Software Combined. What You’ll Do and Learn: · Deal Sourcing & Prospecting - Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to B2B tech company founders. · Market Research & Target Identification - Map software markets by vertical, geography, and financial profile to identify acquisition targets. · Relationship Nurturing & Pipeline Management - Maintain CRM hygiene with accurate stage tracking, next actions, and relationship insights. · Process & Tool Optimisation - Contribute to improving origination processes and identifying new strategies.
