This role will be responsible for leading the oversight and continuous improvement of community impact activities ensuring all programs, tools, campaigns, and projects are strategically aligned with KPIs and deliver measurable outcomes. With responsibility for monitoring and evaluation, this role drives data-informed decision-making, optimises resource and budget allocation, and strengthens program effectiveness, and accountability to the communities served and the campuses. Other aspects of this role include: Monitoring & Evaluation Lead the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure the activities and programs achieve strategic objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Oversee data collection and validation processes, tracking progress against key indicators through conducting site visits, and data review. Conduct evaluations to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs, using quantitative and qualitative data Guide the development and refinement of indicators, tools, and frameworks aligned with organisational and program goals Accountability & Reporting Design, implement, and manage feedback and complaint mechanisms, to ensure accountability that beneficiaries and stakeholder voices inform program improvement Prepare regular reports on activity progress, performance, and learning for both internal and external stakeholders, partners and leadership Track and report on volunteer engagement, training effectiveness, and volunteer contributions to program outcomes. Provide reporting and performance briefings to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions and planning. Learning & Improvement Lead the analysis of program data and surface insights to identify trends, gaps, risks, and lessons learned driving adaptive program design. Share findings and lessons with the team and stakeholders to support evidence-informed decision-making and adaptive program design Collaborate with the Program Management team to improve program design and delivery in response to Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) findings Ensure data integrity and compliance in all M&E processes, overseeing databases and other data management tools Hold delegated responsibility for aspects of program resource allocation, ensuring effective use of staff, volunteer, and material resources to meet outcomes. Cross-Functional Support Lead coordination of recruitment, onboarding, and staffing processes for CityCare roles in collaboration with Staff Operations and relevant departments Act as the primary liaison with support teams (e.g. IT, HR, Payroll) to ensure operational needs are met Oversee the ongoing development, optimisation, complianceof the volunteer management system Lead the development and implementation of operational procedures, tools, and protocols that enhance program quality, efficiency, and alignment with organisational standards. Note: Activities involve all community impact programs, tools, activities, campaigns, and projects supported by CityCare Ideally, the successful candidate will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Analysis, Social Science, International Development or a related field (desirable). Experience in monitoring and evaluation, including data collection, analysis and reporting, with the ability to apply critical thinking and solution-focused approach to inform program improvement. Demonstrated ability to work independently, apply specialist knowledge to program design, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives. Proficiency in data management systems and use of digital tools to support M&E reporting, and program accountability.
