Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Urban Planner to lead the scoping, programming and delivery of place-making and capital works across a network of activity centres. You’ll champion high-quality urban design, coordinate implementation plans, and partner with business, community and government to unlock investment and deliver tangible economic and community outcomes. Rate: Circa $65.00 per hour super Location: Logan, QLD Contract Length: 12 months Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of place-based projects, managing scope, time, budget, risk and benefits. Draft and deliver implementation strategies and activity centre Implementation Plans; coordinate council-wide inputs. Build relationships with property owners, businesses, and state/federal stakeholders to facilitate investment. Provide urban design and strategic planning advice; prepare business cases, plans, illustrative diagrams and 3D models to inform decisions. Pursue funding opportunities to enable high-quality design outcomes and public realm improvements. Prerequisites / Desirables Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or similar. Demonstrated delivery of complex place-making/capital works programs and strong program/project management capability. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills; ability to distil technical content for diverse audiences. Proven ability to influence urban design outcomes and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams. C Class Driver’s Licence; willingness to undertake occasional after-hours duties.
