About the Role APS Group has partnered with one of Australia's leading Freight and Transport companies to recruit multiple Freight Handlers for their growing, friendly team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring freight moves efficiently through the network - from loading/unloading vans and containers to sorting and scanning freight and preparing orders for dispatch. This is a Christmas Peak opportunity with the potential for ongoing work for candidates who show reliability, commitment, and a strong work ethic. Shifts Available Shifts run between 4-6 hours depending on workload: Morning: 5:30am - 7:00am starts (Mon-Fri) Afternoon: 2:30pm - 4:00pm starts (Mon-Fri) Pay Rates: AM Shifts: $41.43 per hour PM Shifts: $47.23 per hour Duties General warehouse and labouring tasks Freight sortation and manual handling (up to 20kg) Unloading vans onto conveyor belts Loading containers for interstate deliveries Palletising, wrapping, and despatching freight Processing orders using RF scanners Inbound and outbound freight handling and manual loading What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly, safely, and efficiently Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling and lifting (up to 20kg) - this is a very physical role Reliable and punctual - this is essential Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively Own reliable transport (site not easily accessible by public transport) A positive attitude and a genuine desire to work and be part of a supportive team About the Company Australian Personnel Solutions is a leading national staffing agency renowned for its commitment to connecting top-tier talent with exceptional companies.
