Work options: On-Site About the Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Service & Energy Data Analyst to join a growing SmartEnergy Management team. In this role, you’ll combine your analytical ability with strong client service skills to help organisations improve their energy and environmental performance. You’ll manage sustainability and energy data, coordinate projects, and ensure key client deliverables are met to the highest standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting clients on their sustainability journey. Key Responsibilities Client Support & Service Delivery Act as the main liaison for group account clients, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly and professionally. Coordinate with clients, meter providers, retailers, and internal teams to maintain smooth data flows and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records in internal systems and ensure all data is correctly reflected in the SmartEnergy portal. Attend client meetings to provide updates, discuss performance, and ensure service standards are met. Data Analysis & Reporting Support the preparation and delivery of energy and sustainability reports, including: Forecasting and accruals Network tariff and solar ROI analysis National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Carbon reporting Monthly and daily energy usage reports Use CRM systems to manage client queries and track resolutions. Identify opportunities to improve data management and reporting processes. Energy Billing Verification Review and validate network billing data to ensure accuracy. Liaise with internal teams and retailers to resolve billing discrepancies. Manage complex or multi-service issues through the CRM system, ensuring timely and transparent communication. General & Team Responsibilities Deliver responsive, high-quality service to clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in all data and communications. Take ownership of deliverables to ensure KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance processes and improve client outcomes. About You Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies , or a related field (preferred). Previous experience in energy, environmental consulting, or metering services is an advantage. Advanced Excel skills are essential; knowledge of Power BI, Python, or coding will be highly regarded. Excellent organisational, analytical, and administrative skills. Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to build professional client relationships. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Full working rights—Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory.
