Paralegal, Ongoing Full-time opportunity, based in Sydney CBD with flexible hybrid work options Role: Paralegal Location: Sydney CBD, flexible working options available Grade: Clerk Grade 03/04 Salary Range: $84,659 - $92,701 super Employment Type: Ongoing position An opportunity for an enthusiastic and team-orientated Paralegal (Grade 03/04) is available within the Department of Customer Service (DCS) Legal Division. In this role you will be you will be a valued member of the legal team working in an interesting and fast paced legal services environment, providing paralegal functions to support the efficient delivery of Legal services. You will work in collaboration with junior and senior lawyers to support processes and operational delivery including matter management, reporting and precedents. Your role may include legal research and drafting, preparing and collating briefs and other material, assisting with subpoenas requests for documents, and responding to customer inquiries. This is an ongoing full-time employment opportunity for an energetic Paralegal with experience in supporting busy legal teams. Remuneration of $84,659 - $92,701 super & leave loading, commensurate with experience. Based in Sydney CBD with flexible arrangements available. A talent pool may be created for future opportunities. The person in this role will need to: Provide a range of paralegal functions to support the efficient operation of Legal services including general administrative support to optimise efficiency and support the delivery of business outcomes. Undertake legal research and assist with preparation of draft advice/briefing documents to expected standards. Assist in managing compliance with subpoenas including collating and reviewing documents to be produced, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information. Assist lawyers with the management of claims and litigation or other legal matters, to support the on-time delivery of services. Act as point of contact with key customers and stakeholders by responding to enquiries, providing information and advice in an effective and responsive manner to meet business needs. About You: You will have relevant experience and/or qualifications. You will be a motivated team player who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. You will understand the demands of supporting a diverse team. You are client focused, can work independently where appropriate, and can develop practical, innovative solutions to problems. Your role will be integral in supporting the effective operation of our Legal team.
