Description Overview The role of Project Manager is to lead and inspire our delivery teams to achieve exceptional customer outcomes. You will form relationships with key stakeholders, provide great decision making and effectively lead a delivery team. This role involves planning, directing and leading the development and implementation of projects to satisfy business strategies and objectives. Hybrid working conditions- 50% in the office per fortnight Sydney location 12 month fixed term contract Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities • Demonstrate effective and collaborative ways of working. • Build strong cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives. • Role model transparent, trustworthy, and effective communication. • Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria. • Build, lead, and coach project teams through all life-cycle stages. • Motivate and support teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and productivity. • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives. • Evaluate trade-offs between size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and value. • Facilitate fact-based engagement and decision-making. • Implement governance for tracking, reporting, and financial management. • Manage budgets, variances, and scope changes while ensuring compliance with MUFG • Develop, agree, and monitor project schedules and change control mechanisms. • Control project costs and outcomes using cost management and change control techniques. • Implement quality assurance processes to drive continuous improvement. • Set and achieve quality standards and objectives. • Manage project tasks and resources, working with team managers to determine requirements. • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. • Promote a strong culture of risk awareness and compliance. Experience & Personal Attributes • 7 years’ successful project management experience. • 4 years’ experience in financial services, ideally superannuation and/or risk insurance. • Preferred experience across Capital Markets, Superannuation, and risk insurance. • Strong PM capability in time, cost, scope, quality, reporting, and governance. • Inspirational leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Commercially astute and experienced in risk management. • Proven ability to lead multiple teams across diverse platforms. • Highly organised, able to mobilise people and resources efficiently. • Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels. • Experience leading technology-enabled process improvements and change initiatives. • Exposure to early-stage project activities such as business case development and benefits definition.
