Job Description About the role Global have an opportunity for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. This role is based on-site, working a FIFO rotational roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster) . As a Multi Combination Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of pipeline and lease construction projects throughout the Cooper Basin region. Your key responsibilities in this role include: Transportation of various plant, equipment & materials to and from sites Skilful operation of double and triple road trains Safe loading / unloading and security of freight. Loading/ unloading and transportation of earthmoving equipment, such equipment includes Excavators/ Graders/ Trenchers etc. Transporting water, linepipe, machinery, and general freight within the Cooper Basin with precision and care. Efficiently and effectively provide logistical support in accordance with agreed schedules and specifications Delivery of plant, equipment & materials undamaged Perform daily routine checks, maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles/equipment Actively participate in hazard identification and control Long Haul runs available East to West. Desired Skills and Experience About You The candidate we are looking for will be equipped with the following skills and qualifications: Construction White Card will be a mandatory requirement of the role Current open MC heavy vehicle license Forklift certification Mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers. Experience loading Excavator, Grader, and Dozer (desirable) Prior experience working and driving heavy vehicles in remote or rural locations Demonstrated experience and understanding of general vehicle maintenance Understanding of and commitment to Safe Work Practices Strong independent work ethic. A meticulous approach to equipment care. Exceptional communication skills The ability to adapt to challenging road conditions daily.
