Melbourne CBD/Hybrid Home Arrangement About the role Government agency requires an experienced Records Management Officer to join them on a 3-months contract based in Melbourne CBD. As the Records Management Officer, you will provide a range of operational records management and project delivery services. Responsibilities and duties Key tasks and responsibilities will include: Providing a range of operational records management and project delivery services for example, records sentencing and archiving, digitisation and records collection management logistics. Providing authoritative advice on records management requirements and processes consistent with departmental policy and related guidelines Contributing to the continuous improvement of the department’s records management, mail and digitisation services. Proactively contributing to the department's records management program and support compliance with the Public Records Act 1973 and related Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) Standards. Experience and Skills Experience and skills that you will need to demonstrate include: Thorough knowledge of Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) compliance requirements. Proven experience implementing high quality records management processes. Qualifications Relevant qualification in Information Management, Library Science or a related field. Prior record management and/or archive experience is essential. A valid Victorian Drivers Licence. A valid Working with Children Check.
