The Role as a Support Worker You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centered support across Newcastle, Maitland, and the Central Coast. Each day brings something new — different clients, new environments, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a difference where it matters most. Your work will include: Personal care and assistance with daily living activities Medication administration and mealtime support Manual handling, including safe hoist transfers (training provided) Bowel care (suppositories, enemas, digital stimulation) – full training provided Catheter care – training provided Supporting clients to live independently and comfortably in their homes Roster Pattern Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 6:00am to 3:00pm Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 6:00am to 3:00pm You’ll be rostered and paid for your hours whether you’re allocated to a client or not, giving you financial stability while maintaining flexibility. Travel time and mileage between clients — and even from home to home — are fully covered.
