Join our Newcastle Support Team as a Christmas Casual Disability Support Worker and help brighten someone’s day (and season!) by supporting clients to live comfortably and independently at home. We’re looking for compassionate and reliable female support workers to provide in-home care across suburbs including Merewether, New Lambton, Lambton, Elermore Vale, Carrington, Charlestown, Swansea, Eleebana, Whitebridge, Mayfield, and Maryland. Whether you’re after a few extra shifts to top up your Christmas fund or want to give back during the festive season, we’d love to hear from you! Shifts Available We have a variety of shifts to suit your schedule, including: Mornings: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM | 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Lunchtime: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Afternoons & Evenings: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM | 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM | 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Shift times may vary depending on client needs.) What You’ll Be Doing Supporting clients with personal care and daily living tasks Assisting with medications Mobility and transfers, including use of sling hoists Bowel and catheter care (training provided if required) Completing shift notes and documentation What We’re Looking For A caring, professional, and flexible attitude Willingness to travel between suburbs and adapt to client needs Experience in disability or aged care (or enthusiasm to learn!)
