Negotiable salary Full-time permanent role Leading national property developer Our client is a dynamic award-winning national property developer with a focus on commercial developments, residential and mixed use projects. Due to growth, we are seeking a Project Development Manager to join their team to assist with driving development projects from site acquisition, planning and design through to completion. The role : Provide strategic leadership, oversight and end to end accountability for all developments and projects. Provide expert advice on planning matters during site acquisition and due diligence stages. Manage and prepare Development Applications, Modifications, and Planning Proposals. Coordinate with local councils, consultants, and stakeholders to navigate the approval process. Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on development opportunities. Represent the company in meetings with councils, state agencies, and community groups. Prepare planning reports, statements of environmental effects, and other relevant documentation. Liaise with internal development, design, and construction teams to align planning strategy with project timelines. Engage and manage external planning consultants and technical experts as required. What we're looking for: Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in town planning or property development, preferably with exposure to the private sector. Drivers licence Strong understanding of the NSW planning system, including the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. Experience in preparing and managing development applications and planning proposals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with planning software (e.g. GIS, CAD, or planning portals) is an advantage.
