Sydney CBD Contract through to December 2026 $61 per hour super About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to support the operations of a large and complex education portfolio within a key cluster of the NSW State Government. This role is responsible for day-to-day coordination of maintenance works, space utilisation, and stakeholder support across academic and accommodation assets. It’s an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator who has worked in large-scale, multi-site environments and is confident managing both hard and soft services. Key Responsibilities Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure smooth operations across all assigned sites Manage room bookings for classes, workshops and events, ensuring efficient space allocation Provide on-site support to staff and students, including resolving equipment and technical issues Assist with minor works and capital upgrades, ensuring timely project delivery Maintain accurate asset registers and manage procurement in line with policy requirements Liaise with a wide range of internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery Prepare reports, verify data in internal systems, and contribute to compliance obligations Process purchasing and invoicing activities, ensuring timely payments Drive health and safety outcomes, coordinate drills, and identify safety improvement opportunities Requirements Solid background in facilities coordination or building operations across government, education, or commercial portfolios Proven experience managing maintenance workflows, contractor liaison, and asset data Strong administrative and stakeholder engagement skills Proactive, organised and able to operate in a fast-paced, service-driven environment How to Apply If you’re an experienced Facilities Coordinator keen to secure a role within a highly regarded NSW State Government department, click “Apply” now or send your CV directly to Donny at dmudiasa@talentweb.com.au .
