We’re seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join our workshop team, working on a range of heavy fabrication projects . The work involves repairs and fabrication of mining equipment such as dump truck trays, excavator buckets, and other heavy structural components. This is an immediate start opportunity offering long-term, ongoing work with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. What You’ll Be Doing: Heavy fabrication and welding of mining equipment components Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Performing high-quality welding Working safely and efficiently within a busy workshop environment Assisting with general workshop duties as required What We’re Looking For: Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Welder (Australian recognised certificate) Proven experience in heavy fabrication – ideally with mining equipment Ability to pass a weld test and pre-employment medical Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused attitude Desirable: Advanced or Intermediate Rigger licence – we have a dual crane onsite requiring an experienced rigger for occasional operation (not full-time rigging work) What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rates $54 - $60 (Monday - Friday) and $64 - $70 (Saturday rate) Consistent Hours: 6:00AM - 4:30PM Long-term role with temp-to-perm pathway available Great team culture in a supportive workshop environment Immediate start How to Apply: If you’re an experienced Boilermaker/Welder with strong heavy fabrication skills and looking for a stable, long-term workshop role — we’d love to hear from you!
